Amy Herrick, a Certified Senior Advisor with CarePatrol has
managed assisted livings for 20 years and has been placing
seniors in those facilities since 2015.
Colorado has 572 assisted living facilities and as of 2023 more
than 818,800 Americans reside in assisted living communities.
There are over 30,600 active assisted living facilities, operating at
an average capacity of nearly 80 %.
Amy will discuss the age and gender demographics in assisted
living as well as the pay for assisted living. What considerations
do you consider when searching for assisted living? How long
does it take to find and move into one? What is the difference
between assisted living and skilled nursing and memory care?
