Adams County Coroner
On March 5, 2025, the Chief Coroner for Adams &
Broomfield Counties, Monica Broncucia-Jordan, will be presenting to
the Adams County Aging Network. Her presentation to the ACAN
group will cover the role and responsibilities that the Coroner’s Office
has in the community, as well as end of life preparation and expectations
to include topics such as: certifying the manner and cause of death and
obtaining death certificates; funeral arrangement selection, pre-planning,
and consumer protection, wills & living trusts (and the absence thereof),
medical advance directives, organ/tissue/whole body donation, hospice
and palliative care; aid in dying, and assisted living and nursing care.
